Support for Families & Practitioners

Family Support
We have been running events in the North of England since 2011 and connect with around 1000 families. We are the only FASD regional organisation for the North East and Yorkshire and Humber region and work strategically across the local authority areas.  Please contact us to let us know that you are a family in our locality.

Online Bulletin Board
We have an open Facebook page called FASD Network UK. We post information about local community activities, updates about FASD information and we advertise all our support groups on this open page. Please click 'like' so that you get alerts when anything is posted. LINK

Online Family Support
We also engage in a closed Facebook group called FASD UK which offers daily support for 2800 families. This is a vibrant community of support where we talk about all things FASD, our concerns, learn new skills and share the joys of raising children with FASD. LINK

Local Caregiver Support Groups
Support groups are specifically for those raising children or caring directly for children with FASD or suspected FASD. They are informal groups for people to get to know one another, build friendships, ask questions, problem solve and celebrate achievement.  We rotate groups in different locations across the North East and Yorkshire so that everyone has a chance to attend an event in their local area. (These are currently on hold due to Coronavirus).
